Starr_____ Company, (C.)______ 42____________ Regiment of Ohio Infantry Volunters who was enrolled on the Tenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve three years or duration of the war is hereby Discharged, from the service of the United States, this Thirtieth day of September 1864 , at Camp Chase, Ohio by reason of expiration of term of service.

Said Daniel Grosscup was born in Westmoreland Co. in the State of Pennsylvania , is forty years of age, Six feet - inches high, light complexion, Blue eyes Dark Brown hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a farmer.
